The predecessor of TransTitle Corporation was Metro Title, which was
formed in 1981. The Company was founded upon the realization that a
company's time would be better spent paying someone else with the expertise
and know-how to acquire vehicle titles and tags, rather than doing it
themselves. Originally starting with tags and titles, Metro Title later
identified other needs, such as fleet and lease registrations, as well
as repossessions, title work, and duplicate titles.
Acquired in 1995 by Barry Kaseff, Metro Title continued its service
to its existing clientele of national corporations, lending institutions,
leasing firms, insurance companies, banks, and automotive franchises.
In addition, the company has enhanced and significantly increased its
repossession title services to its clients.
Under its new leadership, the company further developed unique computer
technology, allowing the staff to not only significantly increase its
capacity, but to more efficiently serve its clients in all areas of
service. As the company expanded to other states, it became apparent
that an opportunity existed to further expand its client base as well
as deliver more personalized service by setting up offices in those
states.
After reviewing several options, the decision was made to franchise
the company's services to other states throughout the continental United
States. This also afforded others the excellent opportunity to establish
their own business.
